The Leeco Steel Trading Team hosts and visits a variety of customers and suppliers from across the world to extend our network, make new connections and meet with important stakeholders. From Brazil to China, we enjoyed meeting with these outstanding companies!

Purchasing managers from ALUTECH visited Leeco Steel’s Chicago-area distribution plant and met with Jason Fredstrom, Executive Vice President, Antonio Rosset, Trading Division Commercial Director, and Michael Vinson, Warehouse Manager.

ALUTECH supplies a variety of roofing and construction materials, including roof sheets, pipes and plate. Headquartered in Honduras, ALUTECH has locations across the Central American region, including Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua and Costa Rica.

Leeco Steel’s Jason Fredstrom visited an IGP Latarias Automatives plant in Brazil and met with the plant manager.

IGP Latarias Automatives is an auto parts manufacturer that manufacturers a variety of parts. Leeco Steel Trading sources a lot of raw materials (check which materials) for the automobile manufacturing, and it is important for our team to visit and connect with customers in the auto industry.

Leeco Steel’s Antonio Rosset and Denton Nordhues, CEO and President, met with representatives from Yieh Phui in China.

Yieh Phui is an independent coated steel producer with locations in Taiwan, China and Southeast Asia. Leeco Trading has worked with Yieh Phui for years as a preferred steel products supplier.

Antonio Rosset, Denton Nordhues and Jason Fredstrom visited BAOSTEEL in Shanghai, China.

BAOSTEEL produces a variety of steel products, focusing on carbon steel, stainless steel and special steel. BAOSTEEL sources their products to more than forty countries and regions across Asia, Africa Europe and North America. Leeco has a long-standing relationship with BAOSTEEL and enjoyed touring their state-of-the-art facility.

Leeco Steel’s Antonio Rosset met and traveled with Aco Cearense Group in Brazil.

Aco Cearense Group produces and distributes a variety of steel products, including bar, coil and plates throughout Brazil. Brazil is a major importer and exporter of steel products, and it was important for the Leeco Steel trading team to meet with a major distributor in a key market.

Leeco Steel’s Denton Nordhues and Antonio Rosset joined Danica Zipco representatives in touring a Chinese supplier.

Danica Zipco is a producer of thermal insulation systems and metal roofing, with locations across Latin America. Meeting with customers like Danica Zipco regularly helps the Leeco Steel Trading team maintain relationships and provide excellent customer service.

Leeco Steel’s Jason Fredstrom and Antonio Rosset visited Shougang Group’s mill in China.

Shougang is one of the largest steel mills in China and a major supplier of steel products to countries across the world. Maintaining personal relationships with some of the world’s largest mills, such as Shougang, helps Leeco Trading source raw materials to their customers’ advantage.
